How to Add an Opportunity to Sales Pipeline

BigContacts offers a robust Sales Pipeline. After you have customized your Sales Pipeline, you can easily create Opportunities for your individual contacts as needed.

NOTE: Avoid adding extra characters such as dollar signs ($), commas (,) or anything other than numbers where numbers should go.

Add an Opportunity from Sales Pipeline

You can add an Opportunity directly from the Sales Pipeline. You will have to search for the Contact in the pop-up modal in this method.

Add an Opportunity from the Contact Record

Click the Actions button and select Add Opportunity. You can also add an Opportunity via the Pipeline page by clicking on the orange Add Opportunity button.

The pop-up will open and you are ready to create your Opportunity.

You can add as many products as you want to create a total opportunity. After each product that you add, will want to select the Add Product button.

After you have finished you will then select the  Create Opportunity button in the pop-up

Special Notes:

Sales Stage

It's important to note that you will want to first create your specific Sales Stages by going to the Admin and selecting the Customize Pipeline link which is found under the Manage Modules section. With your Sales Stages loaded you are now ready to click on the drop-down menu next to the Stage field

Commissions

This is something that you will want to customize by going to the Admin and selecting the Sales Module link which is found under the Manage Modules section.

Viewing Opportunities in the Sales Pipeline
You can view an overview of your Opportunities in the Pipeline tab after clicking on the Pipeline link in the left sidebar menu. If you do not see your Opportunities, you just need to change the Timeframe for the Opportunities' Due Date and you will be able to see them.
