Meeting Reminders

Your BigContacts account lets you set up meeting invitations and reminders to ensure you and your contacts never miss an important appointment.

 

Email and/or text alerts

You can send meeting invitations via email to:

  • Attending Team Members – Notify internal team members added to the meeting.

  • Contacts Associated with the Meeting – Notify external contacts linked to the meeting.

 

 

Email Reminders

 

Enable Email Reminder to send reminder notifications before the meeting starts.

  • Remind Before – Choose when the reminder should be sent (e.g., minutes or hours before the meeting).

  • Who to Remind – Decide who should receive the reminder:

    • Attending Team Members

    • Associated Contact

 

Note: You can enable reminders for individual meetings or set them as the default for all meetings. If you prefer not to enable them by default, you can activate reminders manually when scheduling a meeting.

 

Screen Pop-up Reminders

 

Your BigContacts calendar also provides pop-up reminders inside your account. This feature:

  • Plays a sound through your computer speakers.

  • Displays a pop-up notification while you’re logged into BigContacts.

This option is available in all accounts and can be enabled as shown in your calendar settings.
