Setting Up Automated Tasks

How to Automate Follow-Up Tasks

 

Go to Your Sales Pipeline Settings

  • Click Pipeline in the left sidebar.
  • Under Manage Modules, select Customize Pipeline.

 

 

 

Choose a Sales Stage to Automate

  • Click Add New Sales Stage or edit an existing one.
  • Name it clearly (e.g., "Proposal Sent," "Follow-Up Needed," "Negotiation").

 

 

 

Set Up Task Reminders

  • Assign specific tasks for each stage.
  • Define when tasks should be triggered (immediately, after a set number of days, or before a deadline).

How to Set Up Automated Emails

 

1. Enable the Marketing Module

  • Click Marketing in the left sidebar.
  • Click Sync Sales Stages to connect your pipeline with email automation.

 

2. Create an Email Campaign for Each Stage

  • Click Create New Series under the How to Get Started section.
  • If using ActiveCampaign, sign up or start a free trial.

 

3. Link Emails to Sales Stages

  • Go to Automations and set up your email sequence.
  • Choose when emails should be sent (immediately, after a few days, or triggered by a specific action).

 

Once a deal moves to a stage, BIGContacts sends the right email at the right time. If the deal moves forward, emails for the previous stage stop and new ones start automatically.
