How to Create a Task

 

Go to "Admin" – Click the Admin tab from the left navigation menu.
Find "Manage Modules" – Under this section, select "Task Module."
Click "Add Task" – This opens the task setup screen.
Enter a Task Name – Clearly define the task (e.g., "Follow-Up Call" or "Send Proposal").
Save the Task – Click the "Save Task" button to store it for future use.

 

Now, whenever you create a task, you can quickly select it instead of manually typing it, saving time and ensuring consistency.

 

 

Creating Multi-Step Task Workflows

 

Some tasks involve multiple steps that require different team members to take action. Instead of manually tracking progress, you can create workflows that automate assignments across your team.

 

 

How to Create a Multi-Step Workflow

 

  • Follow Steps 1-4 Above – Start by adding a task.
  • Add Steps to the Task – Under "Name of Step," enter the first action required.
  • Assign Team Members – Use the dropdown menu to assign each step to a different user.
  • Set a Deadline – Use the "Service Standard" field to define how many days the task should take.
  • Choose the Workflow Type:
  • "In Sequence" – Next step is assigned only after the previous one is completed.
  • "All at Once" – All steps are assigned immediately, allowing team members to complete them at any time.
  • Save Your Workflow – Click "Save Task" to finalize your workflow.

 

Want to track performance? Use the Task Manager Report under the Reports tab to see how efficiently your team completes assigned tasks.
