Managing daily tasks manually can be time-consuming, especially when you’re repeating the same actions. The Task Module in BIGContacts helps you create and manage recurring tasks, automate multi-step workflows, and streamline collaboration, so your team stays on track without the extra effort.
From the left navigation menu, click Admin, then select Modules.
Under Modules, click Tasks to open the customization screen.

Click Add Task in the top-right corner.
This opens the task setup panel.

Task Name: Enter a clear name such as Follow-Up Call or Send Proposal.
Service Standard: Define how many days this task should be completed in.
Click Save Task to store it for future use.
Your new task will now appear in the list and can be reused whenever needed—saving time and ensuring consistency.
Follow Steps 1–3 above to add a task.
Under Task Steps, enter each step name (for example, Send Invite or Confirm Meeting).
Assign each step to a user using the Assign To dropdown.
Set the Service Standard for each step (number of days to complete).
Choose how you want notifications to be sent:
Auto-notify the next teammate after each step, or
Notify everyone instantly at task creation.
Click Save Task to finalize.
This setup ensures every team member knows when it’s their turn to act, keeping tasks flowing smoothly.
