How to Enable Date Editing in Your Sales Pipeline
By default, the option to edit opportunity dates is turned off. Here’s how to enable it:
- Click Pipeline in the left sidebar.
- Select Show / Hide Fields in the top-right corner.
- Find Actual Creation/Update Date and toggle it ON.
Once enabled, users can adjust opportunity creation dates manually.
How to Edit the Actual Creation Date of an Opportunity
When Creating a New Opportunity
- Open the Pipeline and click Add Opportunity.
- Fill in the details.
- Scroll to Actual Creation/Update Date and enter the correct date.
- Click Save to confirm.
When Editing an Existing Opportunity
- Go to the Pipeline or a contact record.
- Click on the opportunity you want to edit.
- Select Edit, then update the Actual Creation/Update Date field.
- Save your changes.
You can change the creation date in the Actual Creation/Update date field when creating an Opportunity.
