How to Change User Password

 

As an administrator in your BIGContacts account, you can change or reset passwords for all users. Updating passwords over time enhances security and provides administrators with better control over user access.

To Change the User Password

 

Step 1: Go to the Users section

 

From the left-side panel of your BIGContacts account, click AdminUsersUsers.

 

 

Method 1: Change Password Directly

Step 2: Select Change Password

 

Locate the user whose password you want to update.
Click the Action (⋮) button next to the user and select Change Password.

 

 

Step 3: Enter the new password

 

On the Change password page:

  • Enter the new password

  • Re-enter it to confirm

  • Click Change Password

 

 

Method 2: Change Password via Edit Option

Step 2 (Alternate): Open the Edit screen

 

From the Users list, click the Action (⋮) button next to the user and select Edit.

 

 

Step 3: Enter the new password

 

On the Update User page:

  • Enter the password in the New Password field

  • Click Save Changes

 

 

You have now successfully changed the user password.
