How to Manage Contacts That Unsubscribe From Email
To ensure compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, we include an "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email sent from your BigContacts account.
When a contact decides to unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in your email, our system will automatically update their contact record. A new field labeled "Email Unsubscribe?" will appear in their contact record, marked as "yes." This indicates that the contact has opted out of further email communications.
Please note that, in addition to our automated system, you have the option to manually unsubscribe a contact by adding them to a specific list.
