How to Create a Custom Workflow with Tasks

 

Create and assign custom workflows for tasks in BigContacts, allowing you to streamline team management and task organization.

 

Note: You must have Administrative permissions to create custom tasks.

Imagine you're a project manager using BigContacts to track your team's daily tasks. By creating a custom workflow, you can ensure each task is assigned with specific steps, priorities, and deadlines, helping you stay organized and ensuring accountability across the team.

To Create a Custom Workflow with Tasks

 

Step 1: In your dashboard, navigate to the Admin section. Under “MANAGE MODULES,” click “Customize Tasks.

 

 

Step 2: Click the "Add Task" button on the Task Customization page.

 

 

Step 3: In the pop-up window, enter the task name.

 

 

Step 4: Define Task Steps

 

 

Step 5: Under “Assign Task Steps,” set the task priority (e.g., High, Medium, Low) and click “Save Task” to complete the changes.
