Want to keep your BigContacts CRM and Google Contacts in sync without exporting and importing manually?
You can now connect Google Contacts to BigContacts using Zapier, a no-code automation tool that lets your apps work together behind the scenes. With this setup, any time you add or update a contact on one platform, it can automatically be reflected on the other.
This guide shows you how to set up the sync using Zapier.
A BigContacts account
A Google account with Google Contacts access
A free or paid Zapier account
Note: This is a one-way or two-way sync depending on how you configure your Zaps. You can create separate Zaps to keep both sides updated.
Here are a few ways you can automate the connection between Google Contacts and BigContacts:
Add new Google Contacts as BigContacts records
Update BigContacts contacts when details change in Google Contacts
Automatically add new BigContacts contacts to Google Contacts
Keep both tools aligned for email outreach, call logs, or mobile syncing
Go to Zapier and log in or create an account.
Click the + Create Zap button.
App: Google Contacts
Trigger Event: Choose between “New Contact” or “Updated Contact”
Follow the prompt to securely connect your Google account to Zapier.
App: BigContacts
Action Event: Choose “Create Contact” or “Update Contact”
Match fields from Google Contacts (like name, email, phone) to BigContacts fields.
Zapier will test the setup using sample data. If it looks good, move to the final step.
Click “Publish” to start syncing contacts based on your trigger.
Zapier is not instant – depending on your Zapier plan, syncs run every 1 to 15 minutes.
Duplicates – Zapier does not automatically deduplicate contacts. Consider using filters or conditions.
Custom fields – Only mapped fields will sync. Review your field setup carefully.
