Schedule a Meeting
The Schedule Meeting feature in BigContacts helps you efficiently set up and organize meetings with your contacts. You can schedule a meeting from two places (from the contact record and the calendar).
From the Contact record
- Navigate to the specific contact record with whom you want to schedule a meeting.
- Click the "More" option located at the top of the contact details page.
- From the drop-down list, select "Schedule Meeting".
- A pop-up window will open, allowing you to enter meeting details. Once all the information is filled out, click the "Schedule" to confirm and add the meeting to your calendar.
From the Calendar
You can also schedule a meeting directly from the calendar. The calendar offers three different views: Day, Week & Month. Your selection of the view will affect how you schedule the meeting.
Day OR Week View - In both of these views, click on a specific time slot when you want to schedule the meeting. This will open a pop-up with the date and time already filled in. You are now ready to search for the contact with whom you want to schedule a meeting. Once you’ve selected the contact, enter the remaining details of your meeting (e.g., meeting location, attendees, etc.).
Month View - In this view, click on the specific date when you want to schedule a meeting. A small menu will appear, offering three different options, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Click on "New Meeting" and now you can enter the meeting details.
- After filling in the information, click "Schedule" to save the meeting to your calendar.
