How to Set Up a Date-Based Email Campaign
Step 1: Open the Customization Panel
- Go to the Add Contact sidebar in your dashboard.

- At the bottom, click Customize Form to open the customization panel.

Step 2: Add Custom Fields

- Choose Date field type and select Renewal Date from the ready-made fields.

Step 3: Enter Dates for Contacts
Once your custom date field is created, add the relevant date (such as Renewal Date) to each contact record. This ensures the system can trigger your date-based email campaign accurately.
Go to the contact you want to update. Click More and select Edit Contact.

In the Update Contact window, locate your custom date field (e.g., Renewal Date). Click the calendar icon and select the appropriate date.
Click Save to update the contact record.

After saving, the entered date will appear in the contact details section under the custom field label.

You can repeat this process for additional contacts. If you need to update many records at once, use the Import Wizard to import dates in bulk.
Step 4: Create the Campaign List
- Navigate to Contacts -> Campaign Lists.
- Click 'Create List.' A new page opens.
- Enter the List Name and select the List Type (Dynamic or Static).
- Select a condition to filter contacts.
- Click Save List.

Step 5: Customize Your Email Template
- Click Marketing > Email > +Create Email.

- Pick a template as a starting point. Enter Subject and message in the specified box.

- Update the text and replace images as needed.
- Focus on the structure—if the layout fits your needs, customize colors, photos, and sections to match your branding.
Step 6: Select Recipients
In the Who to Send section, choose the lists that should receive your date-based email.
When the Recipients panel opens, select the campaign list you created in the earlier steps. This ensures your email reaches the exact contacts filtered by your date-based conditions.
You can search for your list, check the box next to its name, and click Done to confirm your selection.

Step 7: Final Review Before Sending
Before launching your campaign, review these details:
- Subject Line – Adjust if needed.
- Filters – Double-check that the right contacts are included.
- Tracking Options – Enable email tracking features.
- Send Timing – Set the email to go out automatically on the selected date.
- Test Email – Send a preview to yourself to ensure everything looks right.
- Email Preview – See how the email will appear on different platforms (Gmail, Outlook, iPhone, etc.).
Step 8: Launch Your Campaign
Once everything is reviewed, save the campaign. The system will now send emails on the specified dates—no manual work is needed.
