Staying organized is essential for managing relationships and tracking important actions. BIGContacts lets you assign tasks and to-dos directly from contact records and the calendar, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Use Case: Managing Follow-Ups Efficiently

 

A sales representative must follow up with a potential client in two days. Instead of setting a reminder elsewhere, they assign a task to BIGContacts, linking it to the client’s contact record. This ensures they get a timely notification and can access the client’s details in one place before making the call.
 

 

How to Assign a Task or To-Do

 

From the Contact Record

 

  1. Click the "Action" button and select "Assign Task," or simply click the "Task" button for the same.
  2. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to enter the task details. Once you've finished, click the "Save" button in the pop-up to complete the process.

 

 

From the Calendar

  1. The calendar offers three different views: Day, Week, and Month. The view you choose will affect what you see while assigning a task.

  2. Day or Week Views: In both of these views, you will see a section labeled "Tasks/Bdays" just above the meetings. You can click anywhere in this section, and a small menu will appear, allowing you to choose whether you want to create a "Task" or a "To-Do."
